Our Story

In 2012, my husband, Bruce, and I had a new baby, Emmie, and were renting a townhouse in the western suburbs of Chicago. We dreamed of a house of our own, and realized the best way to save for one would be to move in with Bruce's parents. It was one of the hardest decisions we've ever made. 

In 2013, we bought our first home - a duplex in a rural town. Two years later, our daughter Hannah was born. Now my parents are offering us the opportunity to move to Bruce's and my hometown and raise the kids in my childhood home, but there's a catch - my parents will still be there.

Looks like we're moving in... again!
